Marco Implements GPS System to More Effectively Route Service Calls
We're excited to announce that we have recently implemented a GPS tracking system for our copier/printer technical service representatives. Through an online GPS graphic user interface, we are now able to see at a glance where our service vehicles and service calls are located at all times and dispatch and route service calls more effectively. The system allows us to provide our customers with even quicker response time and faster resolution for any critical downtime issues.
Our service technicians can access the GPS system right from laptops in their vehicles so they can more effectively plan their routes for service requests.

MARCO Employees Contribute Cash and Food to Feed Our Families Food Drive!
Over the past two weeks, Marco sponsored a Feed Our Families Food Drive that raised $618 in cash donations and 365 food items donated by employees for our local food shelves.

Marco announced that it distributed $2.29 million in stock benefits last year to eligible employees. The employee-owned technology company made strategic changes that allowed the firm to finish 2009 with strong profits to distribute an average of more than $10,300 per eligible employee.

Marco Acquires Venture Computer Systems
Marco, Inc. announced that it acquired Venture Computer Systems on Friday, October 31. Jon Eckhoff, president and owner of Venture Computer Systems became part of the Marco team along with its employees. Venture Computer Systems has locations in Rochester and Mankato, Minnesota; Decorah, Iowa; and La Crosse, Wisconsin.
